Atlas Auto Comfort uses equalization technology to provide maximum pressure redistribution to prevent pressure injuries or to support the healing process. Beneath the 1” top layer of convoluted high resiliency foam there are interconnected chambers in a closed circuit to provide self-adjusting pressure redistribution. Clients also benefit from 4” wide firm borders to ensure a solid transfer edge. Atlas Auto Comfort includes a 5-degree sloped foot section to help transfer excess pressure from the heels.

The Atlas is a non-powered, self-adjusting mattress that utilizes equalization technology to provide maximum pressure redistribution for the prevention and treatment of pressure injuries.
Starting at the head, the convoluted high resiliency foam improves client upper body mobility. Next is a cool climate visco gel swirl foam top layer at the torso and middle section for immersion and heat dissipation, followed by a 5-degree sloped foot section made with Serene™ foam to help transfer excess pressure from the heels. Beneath the top layer, interconnected chambers provide pressure redistribution, and there are 4” wide firm borders to ensure a solid transfer edge.
The Atlas is also convertible to a powered air surface that uses Alternating Pressure Therapy (APT) with the addition of the digital pump that is sold separately.
For surfaces sized 48” - 60”, the Domus 4 pump is required to provide the APT.
When the pump is not being used, a valve closure kit is recommended and can be used to adjust the softness/firmness.
A manual air pump can also be used to set the firmness of the chambers. Both the closure kit and manual pump come included with the Atlas.
